RRB NTPC Under-Graduate Level Recruitment 2025: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued the official notification for RRB NTPC Under-Graduate Level Recruitment 2025 (CEN 07/2025), announcing 3,058 vacancies across different posts under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). The online application process will commence from 28th October 2025 and will continue till 27th November 2025 through the official RRB websites.

RRB NTPC Undergraduate Vacancy 2025
The RRB NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2025 offers a total of 3,058 vacancies, distributed across the following posts as per the official notification (CEN 07/2025):
Junior Clerk cum Typist – 563 Posts

Accounts Clerk cum Typist – 412 Posts
Trains Clerk – 79 Posts
Commercial cum Ticket Clerk – 2,004 Posts

RRB NTPC Under-Graduate Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification:
Candidates applying for the RRB NTPC Under-Graduate Level Recruitment 2025 must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent from a recognized board. For UR and OBC candidates, a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required. There is no minimum percentage requirement for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen and other specified categories.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026):
Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Railway NTPC Under Graduate Selection Process 2025
The RRB NTPC Under Graduate Selection Process 2025 will be carried out in multiple phases to select eligible candidates for various Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate) posts. The recruitment process will include two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBTs), followed by a Typing Skill Test (where applicable), and Document Verification & Medical Examination. All stages will be conducted as per the schedule decided by the Railway Recruitment Boards, and candidates will be informed through the official RRB websites.

Stage 2: 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
Stage 3: Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) – applicable for Typist posts only

RRB NTPC Under Graduate Exam Pattern 2025
1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
The 1st Stage CBT is common for all posts and serves as a screening test. It will be conducted in online mode and includes multiple-choice objective-type questions. The normalized score of this CBT will be used for shortlisting candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT as per their merit.

Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates using a scribe)
Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer

General Awareness – 40 Questions
Mathematics – 30 Questions
General Intelligence & Reasoning – 30 Questions

2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
Candidates shortlisted from the 1st Stage CBT (approximately 15 times the number of vacancies) will appear in the 2nd Stage CBT. The questions will be objective and may vary slightly from the indicative pattern.

Total Marks: 120
Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates using a scribe)
Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer

General Awareness – 50 Questions
Mathematics – 35 Questions
General Intelligence & Reasoning – 35 Questions

Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST)
This stage is qualifying in nature and applicable only for posts such as Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist. Marks obtained will not be counted towards final merit.

Typing Speed Required:
English – 30 Words Per Minute (WPM) OR
Hindi – 25 Words Per Minute (WPM)
Medium: Test will be conducted on Personal Computer without editing tools or spell check facility.

Document Verification & Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify all the above stages will be called for Document Verification followed by Medical Examination to assess fitness for the post. Final merit will be prepared based on marks obtained in the 2nd Stage CBT, subject to qualifying the Typing Skill Test (where applicable) and medical fitness standards.

RRB NTPC Under-Graduate Level Salary 2025
Candidates selected for RRB NTPC Under-Graduate Level posts will receive a pay scale according to the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Trains Clerk posts come under Level-2 with a starting salary of ₹19,900 per month, while the Commercial cum Ticket Clerk (CCTC) post falls under Level-3, offering a starting salary of ₹21,700 per month. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates are also entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and other benefits as per RRB rules.
